I absolutely love thier beers! The rotation of beers on tap are great and it's always exciting everytime I go in, which is about once a month or so. Staff is always nice and attentive. My only complaint is the food portions are somewhat small (but good) and what up with the small pickles? Either way, I usually drink more than I eat here and always highly recommend Great Notion!

Absolute best place to go! A must visit in Portland. The beer is fantastic but the staff is even better. Travis, Alex and Drew make the place, along with Steve and Eric. They make you feel very welcome the minute you walk in and keep you company if you'd like. The pretzel and cheese is tasty! Can't go wrong with any beer on the menu 🍻 Great happy hour as well!

First time at this location, accidentally ordered a four pack on the app - oops, no biggie. But when I opened one while waiting for my food an employee instantly said they had to take it. Could I have a glass? No. Could I replace it with one from the tap? No. Could I get refunded? No. Did they inform me I couldn’t open it when they brought it to me, when I clearly intended to stay there with my friends? No. I get it - OLCC rules - but I don’t work there and that policy should have been communicated. Or comped. Giving this two stars because I still like Great Notion and the other employees seemed cool. (Also the food menu is lacking)

Take out beers available. Looking forward to a post-vaccine evening here. Next to Block 15 Corvallis, Great Notion is the best and most creative brewery. Worth the trip to get great beer. 9/25/2021 Update: We made it back. Delicious beers and food, super friendly staff, and the cleaning and sanitizing was well done. Tried 12 amazing unique beers, and had the nachos. Can't wait to visit again. I still think Great Notion is the most creative brewery out there. 3/26/2022 Update: Still amazing, Still unique. So many new ones to try. Loved Apricult and Brujita.
