Simply stunning! What an amazing place. Birds everywhere. Many species I've never seen before. Worth the long drive to get here from outside of Oregon.

Dramatic offshore rocks, of all sizes; at the end of 11th Street SW there's a longish stairway down to the beach; I've seen Cormorants, and Pigeon Guillemots rooking; there'll be Puffins and Pelicans later in the summer.

It was beautiful! The wildlife, rocks, landscape, all of it was gorgeous.

Windy and wonderful. Area has great views, and a few different areas to explore, but mainly the nature walk and the beach. It's always windy here, even in summer. Beach access is gained through a staircase with loads of steps, so be prepared for a small leg workout. The beach had neat rocks to explore, and creeks terminate in the ocean, which is cool. The lookout is busier, but there is lots of room. There's a new sculpture made from ocean garbage which is pretty neat. Wildlife officers are often present, and they patrol the beach in trucks.

I doubt it. Too much visible light from the houses.

Any RV parking? For daytime visiting?

Small parking lot, but is a pull through. Might be able pull through the lot & park on the street. Usually street parking open & houses near by are vacation rentals so no need to worry about parking in front.

Curious if you recommend a whale sighting website or page?

Oregon State Parks has some info on whale watching (check our their website). Also, try orwhalewatch.org for more info.
