I really liked 911 driving school, sure it was a little boring in class but any class is gonna be a little boring, the class was lightened up by most of the stories told by the instructors. I recommend this driving school

Great driving school, two of my kids went there. The school is great and they do a great job with the kids but avoid having your kids drive with Dave at all cost he is a horrible driving instructor and wants to do nothing more than break the children down and try to make them cry, it’s ridiculous that that guy even works there. He’s truly unhappy with his job he should probably find a different career path. My child has heard several students say that they will reschedule their drives if their drive is with Dave. All the other driving instructors are fantastic.

Its a great place and a lot of the instructors are great! But on the flip side some of the instructors can be a little mean at times😅 the classes can get a little boring at times too but really the education is good if you pay attention and would recommend this place more than any other. The parking lot is annoying tho LOL. Overall good place !

I had a wonderful experience! They are very professional and welcoming. Scheduling appointments are very easy and they make you feel comfortable. I passed my knowledge exam and got a few smiles and congratulations from staff which does mean a lot. I will most definitely schedule my driving test with them soon! Highly recommended over B&B driving school.

Hi Billy, short answer is no. Once you pass your knowledge written test you have 2 options. 1) Go to DOL and get your permit so you can practice before your skills driving test, or 2) If you think you’re ready you can schedule a skills test and we can issue a “Temporary authorization to drive “. That allows you to do the drive test without a permit. Once you pass that then you can go to DOL and get your license.
We are a certified testing center for DOL, who no longer provides testing services, except for medical purposes. Please call our office at 324-0911 to schedule. $25 for your first attempt.
For driving lessons one is already provided. For a test there is a vehicle available for an extra charge. Call the school for prices based on exactly what service you need.
Hi Sherry, It's $495 and $95 down. If you call 324-0911 the front desk staff will help you with all the information you need to select a class and to be prepared. Thanks for the question.
You will need to obtain your Washington identification number from DOL online. Once you do that you can sign up for your knowledge test. Once you pass the knowledge test you then sign up for the skills test. Very rarely can you sign up up for both tests on the same day and usually that only happens during slow times in the winter. This time of year we are usually booked out a week or so. Sometimes a couple of weeks. For more details and specifics your best option is to call the office at (509)324-0911 and talk with our front desk staff.
The State Written Knowledge test is paper format.
The knowledge test is $25, if you don't pass the subsequent tests are $20. The skills test is $55 for the 1st test and $35 for a retake. If you are under 18 at this point you must complete a traffic safety course to take your drive test or wait until you are 18. Good questions. You can also call into the school at (509) 324-0911 and the front desk staff can walk you through the complete process.
Yes it is. To get your permit you have 2 options. The first is to be enrolled in a class and get your permit through an issues waiver by the driving school 10 days prior to the class starting. Then you take your knowledge test after the class is done. The second way is to wait until you are 15 1/2 and then take the knowledge test and pass it. Good question.
Depending on the situation we can either give tips or allow a parent to help. There are a coupe of options there. If you call in to the school at 324-0911 and explain the situation they will be able to work with you on the best way to proceed. This would be for our in school tests. When it comes to the knowledge test to get a drivers license we can not assist and your student may need to go to the DOL office to take the written test there. Hope this helps. We work with IEP's all the time.
Hi Lori, This is the link to the state DOL site that explains everything you can expect on the test. It also includes some videos on specific maneuvers. Good luck :) https://www.dol.wa.gov/driverslicense/drivingtest.html
You need to come in and pay for it. That way you can get set up for the lessons.
6 drives. Your schedule (openings permitted). We can work on anything you want. Typically people use the first 5 to work on basic skills and the drive test skills and then the 6th drive to do the drive test, if you are ready by then.
Yes you can customize it. The 6 drive package is essentially buy 5 and get the 6th one free. The payment options are to pay the full amount up front which would allow you to schedule all 6 drives right away. Or you could pay for each drive as you go which would only allow you to schedule one drive at a time. Once you got to 5 drives the 6th one would still be free. You would need to do this, either way, in person at the driving school. Show them a valid permit and get signed up.
That's exciting Teresa. Yes she is ready and eligible to start a class. We have multiple classes running throughout the summer and the school year. If you go to 911Drivingschool.com and look for Spokane under locations, it will give you a list of all classes, start and end dates and times. The price is $495 and includes the class, the 5 mandatory drives and 2 free attempts at the knowledge test. She can take the knowledge test right after she is done with class, and then do the drive test with us once she passes her knowledge test. Please call our office Tuesday through Saturday for any assistance and/or questions. The girls at the front desk are very helpful. Congrats. Big step for daughter and parents.
Yes we will.
Hi Rhonda, If you are not a student then the first test in your car is $55. Each retake after is $35 if needed. If you wanted to use our car the initial test is $95 and each retake is $70 if needed. If you call (509) 324-0911 or go on line you can get all set up with an appointment.
There are no specific start dates for adult private drives. When you go in or call in you will work with the scheduling staff and come up with available times that works with your schedule. It's pretty flexible, depending on available open slots. This is exciting for you. We work on simple to complex. And the nice thing is that. as an adult, you can customize it with your instructor. You can work solely on tasks to get your drivers license, or add in downtown/heavy traffic, or even freeway. The office opens at 10am and they can help you get everything set up.
Hi Lori, We have single private drives for $95/drive, or you could do a 6 drive package for $475. If you go with the 6 drive package and you feel like you are close to taking the test, we could do what's called a "bundled drive" for the 6th of those drives. The bundled is a 30 minute refresher on all things DOL test related and then take the test immediately after that. The other things the front desk will need to know when you call in to schedule is if you currently have a permit. You may need to take a knowledge test first if it's expired. That would be $20 and would need to be completed before the lessons could take place.
It depends on how much practice you need. We have single drives and package drives. If you call the driving school at (509)324-0911 they can ask you she questions and get you all the info you need.
Yes :)
It is your Washington State ID number and will begin with WDL. You will need to apply for this number at dol.wa.gov.
You can either go online to Wa.dol.gov or to one of the local DOL offices. If you have already had one, call into the office and they can walk you through some questions to see if you need to do this step.
Yes you can. We offer knowledge testing on Tuesday's, Wednesdays, and Thursdays at 2pm, Fridays at 4pm, and most Saturdays at 9:30am and 2pm (call in advance to make sure at 324-0911). Make sure you are there about 30 to 40 minutes early to get signed up and paid ($20). The state does not allow late entries and all this must be done before the start time. A little tip, download the drive guide book on the Washington State DOL web site. All questions come from that book. We are closed Sundays and Mondays, but if you had any other questions you could call Tuesday after 10am and our front desk would be glad to help you. Make sure you sign up with the state to get your Washington License number ahead of time.
The payment program is $95 at time of enrollment, $200 before the first class starts and the balance by the 12th lesson.
Hi Telbina, If you are talking about the knowledge test than you would need to pre-pay to reserve a seat. You can do that on line, over the phone or by stopping in prior to the test. If you want to chance there is going to be space, you can come in early (about 30 minutes at least) prior to the test and pay at that point, but there is no guarantee there would be space. This time of year during the T-W-Th tests there is usually space. Hope this helps. If you need something else or further clarification please ask. Also, the front desk staff is very helpful with these things as well. Call (509) 324-0911. Thanks.
Yes, you can take the Written and Skills test without participating in education classes. Feel free to contact us to schedule the Written Knowledge test. Once you have passed, we will help you schedule the Drive test.
Yes you can take a test in one of cars. If you call in to the office the front desk will gladly help you with setting that up. As to your question about insurance, it would come down to your insurance company. My thought is that in most cases yes, they would. But each insurance company has it's own policies they go by. Great questions.
Tuesday 10AM–8:30PM Wednesday 10AM–8:30PM Thursday 10AM–8:30PM Friday 10AM–6PM (Holiday hours may vary)
Hello! Austin would need to take both the state knowledge test and skills test. As a student, the knowledge test is included with the course for no additional cost. Please call the office to set up a time!
The times are generally Tuesday through Thursday at 2 PM, Friday at 4 PM and Saturday at 9:30 AM or 2:00 PM. The times vary from week to week. Keep in mind preregistration is required to hold a seat in a session, with payment needed up front.
In Washington State, students can actually start Driver's education at age 15. The requirement is that they are 15 years old by the first day of class. If a student is waiting to take Driver's ed at a later time, they can take the knowledge test at age 15 1/2 to get their permit independently. Keep in mind that students enrolled in a class can get their permits on a waiver that allows them to defer the knowledge test until after class is complete. This waiver is active 10 days before the start date of a given course.
