Butterfly “Butterfly” Insights

The beds were comfortable and the room was clean. We were promptly brought towels when needed. The staff were professional. And it was quiet, as we weren't bothered by what was happening in other rooms. However, as much as we desperately wanted time in the jacuzzi, it didn't happen. The indoor pool and Jacuzzi room was constantly packed with the noise and chaos of children running and splashing and playing and the jacuzzi was always occupied by adults and children, up until closing. There needs to be hours for just adults. In addition, the breakfast needs to be available past 10. On vacation we sleep in and don't want to miss breakfast because of it.

The building is starting to show some age but the kids loved the pool and the spa was nice. For the price you would expect a Continental breakfast but there's only coffee. That was an unpleasant surprise. As was the extra $80 on our bill for a rollaway bed for our third child. Would've been nice to know when we booked a room for five

The site we used advertised sleep number beds at this location which was the deciding factor but the hotel stopped using them. Their attitude implied we should have known this. Their customer service amounted to 'you didn't use our site, we're not responsible'. Even a tiny bit of sympathy would have been acceptable.

Staff is pleasant, rooms mostly clean. Our bathroom had used soap in it from previous guests. The restaurant is not open every day, and there's no grab and go breakfast. Microwaves are only in some rooms. For the price you pay, could find a hotel with more amenities.
