Turned off my power with zero notice, just moved to a new house that the sellers never provided information on who the power provider was.

The app to make payments doesnt update their in their system which will still result in shut off. They didnt even leave note on door handle untill well after 5hey had shut it off.

After calling Sunday morning about a power issue, Kyle and Thurston came out about 30 minutes later. They not only checked their connections, they tightened up mine to save me a bill. Fast, professional, and friendly service. Thank you avista!

If you can get through to someone who can take a report it would not be a bad idea to let them know your address is not receiving electricity as they begin to compile their outage reports.

We are new to Acosta and just got our first bill which includes two “basic charges” of $6.00 each - one for electric and one for gas. What’s that about?

Did you mean Avista Utilities? If youre in the town of Acosta then Avista is not your utility. In general, basic charges are the minimum amount charged just to have the service, i would recommend calling the customer service number on the statement for a complete explanation.
