My experience here was absolutely horrible. I came in with a throat so sore that I could not eat, and could barely drink or talk. The doctor absolutely refused to give me any antibiotics or anything for the pain, and actually suggested that I drink whiskey instead!!! Even after telling her that I’m sober, she did not back down, apologize, or offer any other suggestions. I begged to just be given prescription strength ibuprofen, and I was treated like I was trying to obtain drugs to misuse. I’ve seen other reviews stating that they treat everyone on Medicaid like this, so obviously it’s not an isolated incident. The next day I ended up calling a nurse hotline, and she was absolutely floored with how I was treated, and the fact that absolutely nothing was done to help me. Now I have to go to the ER, and spend thousands of dollars, just to be taken seriously, and actually helped. The staff were very unprofessional, and none of them were grasping the idea that I don’t have a car, and couldn’t drive anywhere. I was repeatedly told to “just stop by on the way home and pick up some cough drops”, and staff completely ignored me when I kept explaining that it wasn’t an option. On my discharge papers it says that I was prescribed prescription strength cough syrup, but that’s a blatant lie. I was not prescribed anything, and wasn’t offered any advice aside from “whiskey and cough drops”. The strep throat swap was done incorrectly, and they didn’t even look at my tonsils, or my extremely swollen lymph nodes. The cherry on top is that I had to wait for an extremely long time while in the exam room. I had to wait alone for about 40 minutes for one test result to come in, and then once it was time to leave, I was told to wait again, and that my papers would just take a second. I waited for so long that I’m pretty positive that they completely forgot about me. I ended up having to find someone, and they got annoyed when I said that I thought I’d been forgotten. Once it was time to leave, staff made me wait in the secluded back parking lot, because “that’s where Uber drivers always pick up patients!” The driver could not find where I was, and I ended up being charged a fee because of it, and lost my ride. Would give a 0/5 if I could. I’m never coming back here, and if you have anything serious going on, it’s best to just go to the ER first. Otherwise youll just end up being sent there anyway, after Urgent Care’s horrible advice does nothing to help.

Like always, Chas does "not" disappoint. Checked in at 6 pm, an hour later was told that provider will not see us cause there are 9 patients ahead of us and they want the provider to get out at disant hour... went to shrines, children's hospital, and sure enough, child's bone was broken... but because CHAS kicked us out, we didn't find out till the next day... Chas urgent care...will see you if they want to. That's should be their mission statement.

The physician assistant at this location has a horrible bedside manner. Rude, short and talks down to people. This is the second time I’ve experienced this. It will be the last time as well. They are all cold and have no people skills obviously. The only pleasant person there is the receptionist!

I went to Chas urgent care across from Holy Family for a sore throat and it almost cost me my life. My throat was burning and swollen mostly shut. I also had a fever. I was tested for strep and covid. Then I was told to go home and wait for test results and that it would take between 3 to 5 days. I begged for antibiotics and I was accused by the medical staff working on me of just wanting narcotics. After reading other reviews it appears that some of the staff view most of their low income patients as ADDICTS. I do not take pain meds and I didn't need any in the hospital. She sent me home to DIE. By the weekend I was rushed to valley medical with severe sepsis and a very slim chance of survival. I made it out alive however I'm still on at home antibiotics. I'm also out of work for a while. Shame on Chas for doing nothing. Even a referral would have been something. When I got out of the hospital I went back to chas to talk to the administrator. He said that there was not much that he could do other than talking to the staff member about the narcotics comments. He came out into the lobby to discuss my visit in front of other patients instead of taking me to an office. Pretty sure he was violating HIPAA laws. THIS COULD BE YOU IF YOU GO TO CHAS URGENT CARE ALONG WITH THOUSANDS IN HOSPITAL BILLS. Update I just got the final bill from the hospital just over $65000.
