My fiancé and I attended church here when we were able. He recently passed away from a very intense battle with gastric cancer. His daughter made arrangements for his memorial service to be held here in spite of the fact that he had spent the majority of his life in Spokane. It was a lovely service. Pastor Tim did an excellent job with Carey's service in typical Pastor Tim fashion. The staff from The Altar were extremely helpful with the "reception" afterwards. The only downside I would have to mention was that there were some individuals who didn't realize there were ramps available for their use. I was not made aware that they didn't know until after when I was told about a comment made by a family member about how difficult the layout was. This was, in no way, the church's fault. It was ours for not making sure these family members knew. I will make a point of making that point clear in the future.

Love The Altar Church, a church that is not afraid to talk openly about every earthly subject.

Funeral should only be 40 min. Pastor should cut his time shorter.

In my opinion it's the best church anywhere. The pastor's are awesome. The people are awesome and The Good Samaritan Program is a life changing opportunity which the Altar supports. Jesus saved my life through both.

There is no service Monday the 4th
Is it possible to have the Graduates ceremony after the sermon, instead of before. That way people who want to see it and be part of it can stay and those that need to leave can. Thank you for an answer. God bless.
We have a food bank for the public every Monday. If you need an emergency food box call us at 208-664-1553
Yes. The church is structured with a primary purpose of drug and alcohol recovery.
Monday night begins with a brief message from a preacher in training followed by a beautiful time of praise and worship, then Pastor John Padula usually ends the evening with a sermon.
Thank you all so much. Robert McDonald id love the number. Also I will call and ask for Adela. We used to be friends back in the day and am so happy for her and her brother for how great they are doing now
