I used to work here and it was an absolute nightmare. From the customer stand point though let me tell you most of the girls there will actively avoid helping a customer if it at all possible, after a customer service interaction they'll usually turn around and say something rude about the person. I cant say much about most of the food as i didnt really bother to try it but what i did eat wasn't really worth eating again.

If you ever get something from lilac city bakery… don’t. I found mold in a cake pop that I had already eaten today, yet it’s dated that it’s good until 3/23/22. I used to work here so I know that they have their cake pops sent from their sister bakery in the valley, celebrations, and that they then throw them in black milk crates in their walk in cooler until they’re ordered and then they date them, they aren’t dated when they are made and stored, so who knows how long this was sitting in their refrigerator. If this doesn’t make you want to puke I don’t know what would.. I just hope I don’t get sick! 😩

If you’re going to order a cake I recommend calling and not going through the online portal it’s a lot easier! I asked for something simple and elegant for my fiancé’s 28th birthday. They definitely understood the assignment, the cake is so pretty! I can’t wait to eat it!!!

I submitted a photo from Pinterest and the baker made the cake the exact same. It was amazing. Everyone was asking where I got it. The cake was so delicious as well. We are very happy with them, and will be back in the future. Thanks! UPDATE: I went to Lilac City Bakery for a baby shower cookie set up. They off course did amazing once agian. They were even able to make vegan cookies for the mom to be. They are now my go to for special bakery items.

Yes!
Good social distancing due to bakery layout.
Gluten free cookies, cake pops, and a brownie...for food food, just salads. I got a sugar cookie, huge, okay taste. However, I don't believe that they are a "dedicated" Gluten free, meaning that they also prepare Gluten recipes on site, so a possible cross contamination to the Gluten free recipes, so if you have a severe allergy to gluten...I'd be careful.
Yes! We do offer wedding cakes, voted best in Spokane. Please call our shop for orders details, pricing etc. Sincerely, Lilac City Bakery 509-315-4958
