Bluegill here are really good size, also caught a small large mouth. Did the 2022 kids fishing derby which is a fun event. Here's the only complaint, THE DUCKWEED! It's terrible every cast brings in a half pound of the stuff and the entire lake is covered. Water is clear and clean but it's covered with this stuff. Not great fishing for 100 kids, day was enjoyable but tough fighting these weeds.

A very nice, quiet park with geese and ducks around. Seems like a nice place for friendly get-togethers. Also there is a paved walking/running path. Some people like to fish in the lake. At a certain time of the year, you can even see newly hatched goslings running around.

Are you looking for a fresh air? I recommend you Wild Acres Park . I like this place specially for peace and power of nature. With its wonderful lake, I enjoy to see fish, ducks and other birds.
