Very clean cozy place,the 2 girls working where busting their butts.The catfish fritters and the breaded mushrooms where really great tasting,hot fresh food is what I like.great job!!

Food & ice cream are good. Nothing on the menu is so unique you would make it a destination. HOWEVER, what makes it unique is the small old time diner feel. Always has friendly staff. Also it sits next to the Illinois River in scenic Calhoun County. All this makes it worth stopping. Bring cash- no cards.

Home cooked goodness in a jiffy. Requested a quick meal to go, was hungry but had to get home for animals. Within 5 minuets the lady was at the takeout window. I was so surprised at the meal that was put together, packaged securely with napkins and fork. Oh, and it was tasty too. Will be back, so many options to choose from.
