Beautiful day for a boat ride🤗😳. We saw a whale several times, many birds including a brown pelican, and a sea lion. Some of the guests enjoyed pulling up the crab pots. Thank you Captain Dan and Danielle for a most enjoyable two hours. Next trip to Newport....plan to go again .

It was ok.. good that we have it out if the bay for 5 min. I understand the weather is a challenge. But instead of going 1 mph up and down the river I would have rather just been dropped off early. I never fall asleep on attractions but this one I did.

We went on the pier behind the Marine Discovery Tours shop to view sea lions. Their restrooms there were clean and open to the public. My daughter, upon seeing a certain sea lion, was concerned that he was recently injured, so I went to the store around front to tell them about that. The shift manager was very kind, found a number and asked questions to determine if the creature was in distress, and led me to some merchandise I told her I had been looking for. Many in our large family group ended up finding souvenirs there—really fun, cool caps, brain-engaging toys, and clothing touting Newport.

Didn't have the opportunity to go on any of their tours, but the gift shop was amazing! Colorful selection of souvenir clothing and the occasional knick knack, as well as a great view of the bay. The employee at the register was also knowledgeable, polite and extremely helpful. It is also connected to a wonderful coffee shop.
