My daughter got something stuck in her eye and was absolutely miserable! We went to urgent care but the doctor couldn’t find anything. We went to Dr. Lapointe and she was able to immediately find it! This was such a blessing since we were 20 hours away from home and had to drive in the car. Thank you so much for fitting us in!

Initially everything was fine but then we felt that the experience with the front office staff was decreasing with every visit. They were rude, abrupt, condescending, impatient and essentially bullying. After a lot of thought, we decided to move our sons eye care to another practice in Brunswick,. My sons father requested that my son’s file be sent to the new practitioner, and we were hoping that from a professional standpoint - this would be done regardless. I telephoned to inquire about the process, and the person I spoke with was rude and abrupt. When we visited our sons new practitioner on his first visit, we were told that his old practice had failed to send our son’s prescription. I had to call them from home and give them the prescription. The new practitioner agreed that this was an extremely out of the ordinary mistake for such an experienced office to make. Unfortunately, after having experienced “the last straw” with this practice, we feel strongly that we need to research if we were treated properly from a legal perspective.

I have been a patient for almost 3 years now. My MD recommended annual eye exams due to diabetes. I was warmly welcomed as a patient, treated with kindness and respect by all staff members, and was provided with a very thorough exam by Dr. Gallagher, explaining what & why she was doing it all through the exam. She/they not only gave me the results, but also reported back to my MD completing the health care circle. I am very pleased with my association with B E C.
