Needed help fast early Saturday morning. My dog had gotten hold of and had eaten a cube of mice poison. The closest open Vet was VCA in Standish. The staff twice told me that they don't treat emergencies and that Id have to make an appointment!! All I needed was some ipecac! I wonder if the vet knows how dumb this sounded to me? I ended up in Portland but I saved the dogs life. No thanks to VAC!!

They are always so patient and kind to our TWO exuberant dogs that have to go together. These are true animal lovers and are always willing to offer alternate solutions. They are not all about giving you the biggest bill they can but about doing the best for every pet family in their situation.

It's been years since I have needed to ask, but in the past they have agreed to accept a check dated for Friday of that week (when they banked). I believe euthanasia depends on the dog's size and weight and how much of the drug is needed. I have experienced them agreeing to bill me for that procedure, but we've been with them for decades and always paid them. You can email them from their website.
Price depends on what you need done. I believe they take care of bunnies
