Absolutely beautiful! No pets allowed on property. Public restrooms available. Picnic area. Get there an hour before low tide if you would like to get a parking spot. There is a private residence that sells fresh produce on the same road.

This was beautiful adventure. I felt a bit like a mountain goat picking my way down to the shore line. While I saw people doing this in flip flops, I highly recommend water shoes or easy dry athletic shoes. If your knees or hips are not fans of hiking or dealing with rocky inclines, bring a good camera, a good lunch, and park yourself on the grassy outlooks up top. If your knees are having a good day, it is well worth some careful footing to get down to this extraordinary shoreline. The best starfish viewing is to the right and directly in front of the observation deck. The old walking bridge that is no more offers a great walk-way in low tides to see a lot of water life. Low tide, and the couple of hours before and after are where it's at, if you want to get up close and personal and scale the rocks for up close starfish viewing. Other fun finds - crabs and squid. This was a great day with family, but would also be an extraordinary photographic outing. Parking was good. Bathroom access IS port-a-pot but they were nice ones and had a handicap accessible option.

We came here for starfish! We got here about an hour before low tide and the starfish were easy to find. My kid wanted to touch them and hold them but we were careful to put them back in the water gently. I gave a 4/5 because we came for the starfish and definitely found many but could rate lower due to disgusting port-a-potties out of toilet paper, lots of goose feces everywhere, and lots of places to trip and fall on the rocks and few places to safely walk down to the water. I understand that some of that is out of human control. Just be aware that this place isn’t perfect.

What an awesome place to check out sea life in the various tide pools! Plus just watching the tide rush out was ab absolutely amazing sight to see! And we were in awe of the various colors of pinks the starfish were! Definitely worth a visit!!

It's on a side street off of the main rd. Frenchman's Bay conservatory has a new building on site.
They do have a couple of portable bathrooms now.. They reopened in July but will be closed Sept 9 for a few days to reseed the grass
