My go to spot for a quick beer and some wings. Can’t go wrong.

My friends, family, and I frequent this bar at least 2X a week, 3x for my boyfriend and myself, most of the workers there know us. I reserved a table for my boyfriend’s party there this Friday. I called in and explained that two of my guests only eat Turkey, this bar does not have Turkey options. I asked if they could bring in their own food, since I was going to purchase food while there for everyone to eat, I didn’t want them sitting there watching us all stuff our faces with burgers and chicken. The lady who answered the phone said, no, we don’t have Turkey options, and they can’t bring in food, “ I’m trying to survive.”. That statement she made was one of the most ridiculous ever. It’s not like they have the option for Turkey, and they still want to bring in their own food, and they can’t purchase food from them anyway. I thought I asked her if I could bring in my own bottle of liquor the way she answered me. It’s things like this that drive away the most loyal of clients. I’m a understanding person, but the tone and smart statement she threw in, was unnecessary. A simple “I apologize, but we can’t allow that. Here are some of the other great meatless options we have.”, would have been enough for me to be please with.

Questions & Answers

When they are looking for BoH workers, are they still doing a week of unpaid training and paying only $10/hr?

Hi Madi, If you mean back of house workers (or even front of house) at our establishment we always paid our workers during the training period. Your coming to work for us and training is working. We pay our workers at minimum wage on up based on experience but also keep in mind we are a small establishment where more drinks are sold then food. If you are looking for employment please stop in and fill out an application.
