One of the stops on a 'Farm to Fork' ride. Appearance from road is rustic, but stop was welcoming, staff engaging. Products were in season and delicious looking. Nothing outstanding from the dozens of farms along the routes.

Questions & Answers

If I plant the Olivia’s Garden basil in soil will it continue to grow ?

You could do that. But you could just keep watering and keep in full sun. It should be sitting in water and tons of direct sun. Don't let it go dry

HI, In light of the ecoli outbreak from Romaine lettuce grown in the southwestern U.S. I was looking at other salad options in the supermarket. I noticed Bibb lettuce, biologically grown, from Olivia's Garden. What is biologically grown?

Although I wont talk about the specifics of what is and what is not biologically grown. I can say that the green house is an hydroponic system that does not depend upon the use of pesticides. Instead the greenhouse strives to produce the bib lettuce, basil, tomatos, micro greens, cucumbers and other plants with a balance of good bugs, companion plants, and other natural means to control the bad bugs that can introduce themselves into the natural system. There staff are awesome and their products are top notch. You can find them at Pineland Farms Market and Brunswick Farmers markets as well as select Hannaford stores.
