Small restaurant with really good vibes especially for a nice brunch. The wait during weekends is pretty long but totally worth it. We had quite a few dishes and the stand out was the shrimp and grits. I would highly recommend this restaurant. They had pretty good mimosas too!

Went almost everyday during my trip to Chicago in October. Very friendly staff , good food, and in a good location in the loop. I tried the Cajun shrimp and grits, the catfish, regular breakfast platter with turkey bacon. The food is sooooo good ! 4 stars instead of 5 because of the mimosas. They all tasted fine but they don’t fill the glass up. I mentioned this to the staff and they said it’s the “Midwest” way but proceeded to fill the persons glass next to me all the way up . Would definitely go back and I have recommended this place to others

OMG the Cajun shrimp&grits is the best I’ve had! Haven’t got one that good even in NC where I lived for a year! A lot of shrimps, the sauce is full of flavor…and the grits is really cheesy! The crunchy French toast is delicious, it’s the perfect sweet even without the syrup. Plus their corn muffin really hit the spot! Loved it!
