Great place! Be advised that a lot of vendors are closed on Saturday. Lots of options for food at a reasonable price. Validated parking for 1 hour or less but there is metered parking on the street as well. Tables inside provide a place to eat as well as a phone charging station.

OMG! I can't believe I'm a Native Chicagoan and overlooked this charming collection of food vendors and locally owned boutique style shops! Today I took a long leisurely hike from the West loop back to River North and finally ran into the French Market located within the Canal street Metra station. I found so many tempting food vendors and chose Frietkoten Belgian Fries because it's been ages since I've had genuine Belgian Friet prepared with dipping sauces. I took my time chatting with a couple of friendly female professionals on their lunch break then explored a bit of crystals 🔮 that were set on display by Michael who does a wonderful job helping out customers at the information desk. Michael told me the crystal vendor was away at a Rosemont crystal convention but he'd be happy to help me make a purchase and help me pay the owner since he knew his contact information. I must have spent a couple hours here just eating and wandering around and met so many interesting characters. Igor Irbe owns a map design shop here so go have a look and absorb the good vibes! I am so thankful to Michael today for providing me with useful advice and making my shopping experience more magically enfused! 🌟 I'm definitely looking forward to future visits! Oh and they do allow service animals here and go have a look at the Barking Spot Bakery because they have plenty of gourmet treats for dogs and cats 🐈 here too!

Such a great collection of restaurants in a small area. My office team and I frequent here often because you can get pretty much any cuisine your hunger desires here. Comes highly recommended by me-a dude that eats lunch downtown 5 days a week. It is the highlight of my work day to be honest.

It's a great market. Great variety of food and to support small businesses. Unfortunately due to Covid, not all places are open and most of them close early. Better to go during lunch hour. You can get different food to go and eat by their outside patio.

Yes, we will be. We are closed Sundays and then Thanksgiving day, Christmas Day and New Years day.
The only time I went they were all nice. It was very cozy.
If you consume at the French Market they give you some free time.
There's not an elevator in our building but if you exit the trains through the city court building which is the turnstiles on the south side of the tracks you can take an escalator down exit the building and walk back across the street to the north
