The service was very poor! The hot salsa tasted like a can of crushed tomatoes and the mild was like tomato soup. The steak was a cheap piece of beef. This is the second time we have tried this place. There will not be a third!!!

Service and space were great but the food wasn't very impressive. We had a special limited menu for our work group which was really nice, definitely can tell they care about their business and are trying hard, just need a little tweaks to their recipes.

El Puente is located in downtown St Charles. There is no dedicated parking however there are city parking lots within walking distance. The restaurant has a bar which also offers dinning. The restaurant was busy but the wait was short. The food was good and the strawberry margarita was good. A friend recommended we try it and we were not disappointed.

El Puente Restaurant has been adhering to the Illinois Department of Health guidelines with respect to Foodservice Sanitation. The number of tables has been reduced and have been measured and spaced according to the Health Department recommendations. Tables, chairs, and common areas are sanitized after each use and throughout the day. We are implementing touchless payment options as well so we will not have to take a customers credit card from them for carry out orders. All staff wear masks the entire time they are working, front and back of house, and required handwashing is enforced. Lastly, customers are required to wear facemasks to enter the restaurant.
