UPS "customer service" is a JOKE !!!! No way to talk to a human, package stuck in St. Johnsbury hub for a few days (with no notice to me) then THEY decide to return to sender !!!! (I saw a UPS truck on our road twice while my package was sitting in the terminal) From now on, I'll request FEDEX ! The FEDEX driver gets to my house through any weather, and they have SOMEONE I CAN TALK TO AT THEIR TERMINAL ALL DAY !!!!!

Absolutely horrendous. An array of excuses of why the driver can't drive down our street none of which are valid. My wife had another shipment they wouldn't deliver and she requested it get left at a business in Wells River. The woman who got the phone at UPS thanked her for calling and said no worries we'll leave it there for you. Lies they sent it back and marked as undeliverable. FedEx guy has no trouble coming to my home just UPS. We will make concerted effort in my family across the nation to avoid any sort of UPS involvement in all future shipments. Also will be expressing the dissatisfaction to the corporate office. Bottom line is 7se FedEx they get it to you UPS does not

If zero stars were an option, I’d give it. I have never had an interaction quite like I just did on the phone. I don’t write reviews but I am absolutely astonished at how incredibly rude the staff member I just spoke to was. I got a notification on Saturday that per the receivers request (me) the package I’m expecting (my textbooks for school) is being held at this UPS location. I did not request this, but I worked all weekend so I called today to see what happened. UPS apparently had deemed my road or driveway impassable and so they didn’t deliver. While I have never had an issue with delivery at my house (and I’ve lived on this same road for nearly 20 years) I understand we have been getting some whacky weather lately and maybe they didn’t feel as though they could safely drive on our road. That’s fine. So I ask if it is going to be sent back out for delivery. I’m told I need an alternate address for delivery. I do not have that. The only person I have in the area is my grandmother, who lives in our second house on this same property so if they cannot deliver to my house, surely they can’t hers. The staff member continues to cut me off and be extremely short telling me they have to have an alternate address because after three failed attempts they will ship it back to sender. Mind you, UPS delivered a different package to my house today. I was simply asking if it was going to be shipped back out for a second time and she would not give me a straight answer. After a few minutes of just trying to figure out what is up with my package, she gave me their phone number and said call when you have an alternate address and hung up. I call back and she is the one who picked up the phone. I was finally able to get her to tell me that yes, my package is being sent back out. But quite frankly with her disposition I don’t have faith that it actually will get sent back out. She again tells me they need an alternate address for delivery for future and said “obviously you have the number so call when you have an address” I am repulsed by the treatment I was given when I just was wondering if it would go back out for delivery and roughly when could I expect it. If I had an alternate address I would’ve given it, not everybody has people and connections that they can just do that for.

Looked on the website to see when they closed and it said 5pm because of the holiday. I got to the store at 4:30 pm and the door was closed with not closed sign or reason. Kept knocking until a lady poked her head out of a hallway and yelled were closed. I said you website says your not and there is no sign saying you are and she never came back. (30 dec 21) terrible customer service, terrible. Makes me wonder who is managing.

@DOTTIE CURIANO : Unfortunately we do not have packaging for sale. We can, however, make a label for you if you don't already have one, and we have tape on site if all you have is a reused box. Additionally, we are actually a Customer Center, not a UPS store; we act as an intake direct to the facility, where the UPS Stores are a separate business that operates independently, save for when our drivers pick up the day's load. They are able to provide services like packaging, package holding, and receiving and packaging return equipment like internet routers and cable boxes.

Yes but do it before noon so they can call it in for pickup as it has to go out with the air and cant go with the regular driver.
