Great place for the Lake in the Hills ribfest. Clean grounds and nice there's a playground too.

Hand dryer in women's restroom broken. No outside coolers nor outside food permitted today: all concessions sold raised for Foundation of young baseball player whose body developed cancer and transitioned on from this realm. Many banner photos of sweet player honorably hung on diamond fences. Speed radar fundraiser also offered: $1>1 ball/$5 > 6 balls.

I think it's a really nice park. They have great baseball fields you can play on and a really fun playground for kids. They also have tennis and basketball courts that are in great condition.

We came for Ribfest and had a wonderful time with our six-year-old daughter. The food and music was great! Unlimited rides for $25 dollars from 12 to 4:00 p.m. Worth every dollar.

Sunset park is free as far as i know. Unless you mean the bark park?
Usually the skate park opens if not doing construction the first day of the beginning of Spring, but usually living in the midwest you can never tell what the weather has in store.
It's located in the heart of several different subdivisions, and is near main roads for easy access. Lots of parking, too! LITH/Huntley uses this location for many of their festivals and events, including the famous Ribfest and Summer Sunset festival. We also do a Craft Beer festival in the fall! It has to be a little out of the way in order to accommodate as many people as we get visiting our beautiful town and fun events. Come on out and see it for yourself!
