Sailed with Capt. John and Megan today and thoroughly enjoyed it! Both were friendly and knowledgable. Capt. John got us laughing with humorous anectdotes and shared historical tidbits about the harbor, facts about the wildlife we saw and other vessels in the harbor, and stories about his sailing experiences. Seeing the workings of a boat and crew in operation was interesting and I'm glad I had the opportunity to experience what it feels like to sail on a schooner. It was smooth sailing from launch to docking.

If your looking for a great time, this is it! The Captan and Megan did a wonderful job of keeping everyone entertained and informed. I would recommend going between noon and 4pm to keep some wind in the sail.

First time sailing and it was a blast!!! Very good for the price! Called other places before this and this was the best deal, 50 a person for 2 hours, so worth it! Boothbay is so beautiful

I highly recommend the Eastwind Schooner tour of coastal Boothbay Maine. Captain Dawson and his First mate Cody were great guides; highly knowledgeable in the history of Boothbay Maine, as well as the vessels used throughout that history. Do yourself a favor and jump onboard!

The times are the same daily. Right now they have 3 sails per day. Last week it was 2 because it was early in the season. However, it's common to cancel scheduled sails when not enough people enroll for a particular time. If you're not sure, call. The person who answers in the booth is unoccupied most of the time so don't feel bad.

How long is your season? I went last August and I have friends in Vermont who want to sail with me again in September.

Our season starts on Memorial weekend and goes until Columbus Day. We look forward to you and your friends joining us in September. Thanks.
