Paisano's is fantastic. The small town family vibes are strong here. The food was so good and the service was great. Try their steaks- amazing! Worth the drive out here from the north Chicago area.

The atmosphere of the this restaurant is very nice however the food I’d say is mediocre. The fried calamari is just not good and has virtually no flavor or texture to it. My sausage and pasta dish was just okay. Bread was excellent. I feel as though the quality of food overall needs to increase. Was overall an okay experience.

We went here because of the good reviews. We celebrated my mom’s bday and they give a complimentary coconut vanilla ice cream. I am not a fan of coconuts so I didn’t really like it. I was expecting a piece of cake. Lol. We ordered 2 types of calamari, the fried and the paisano’s calamari. I was expecting a crunchy fried calamari but it wasn’t and the sauce I didn’t like but if you are into horseradish you might like it. I think the paisano’s calamari is better. The pasta is just a simple white sauce and pasta. I wish the server would have asked us if we want to add something. It wasn’t that good imo. The steak was just ok, I’ve tasted something better. The rest of the food was acceptable. I would say it wasn’t that good and wasn’t that bad either. Nothjng that I was crazy about it.

Amazing food and service. You cant go wrong getting anything on the menu. If you don't make a reservation, you WILL be waiting for a table, any day of the week.
