I love Coquine! A friend and I stopped by the cafe for lattes and cookies. They have an adorable market for food, wine, and gifts. I will be back to try the restaurant!

Beautiful experience start to finish. The staff really makes the experience over the top. Smooth and easy brunch process and everything we ate was made with love that you could taste. Will be back!

Update (Oct 2021): Came back to Portland with friends and our patio brunch at Coquine was as wonderful as I remembered. My burger was juicy and flavorful. We shared a waffle that was so crispy and delicious that we immediately ordered a second one. We all wholeheartedly enjoyed the lunch, and impressed by the quality of food and service at Coquine. Original (Mar 2021): I am blown away by the house smoked pastrami reuben sandwich I had during their to-go lunch. A fantastic dish that is simple yet tasty, delicate yet unpretentious, made from just a few ingredients, you can almost taste its freshness and heartiness. The price is very reasonable for the quality of the food and their staff is just as friendly and attentive for to-go services.

If you don’t like Coquine you are objectively wrong or you arrived after 2pm and forgot it was closed. This restaurant is tucked away in a residential neighborhood and you would never know its quality from the unassuming exterior. Everything was exceptionally good, especially the food. Even the bathroom - a stellar little modern quiet affair that only served to reinforce this was a carefully curated small restaurant with a cute little grocery store attached (very little mind you). Relentlessly sustainable, this was some of the best food I ever had. This isn’t a burger joint and yet the fries were the best I’ve had in my life. This isn’t a pancake house and yet they were perfect. It does everything that it tries very well. I would recommend this to anyone even remotely in the area. No reservations though so just show up and bear the wait list if you must! At 1pm it was no wait, so that’s a hot tip for you, future reader of this post. Every item was meticulously flavored, exactly be right temperature, the glassware was high quality, the decor was minimal but authentic and warm. Such a treat to dine here. :)

Everyone is in masks. No costumers set foot inside. Order online. Pull up. Pop trunk. Receive food. That one employee had COVID and no one else caught it is a pretty strong endorsement of their precautions.
Yes
No, there is no happy hour. Reservations are strongly recommended for dinner.
