One of the best meals I’ve had in a very long time. At first we were intimidated by the price, but found Canard to be unpretentious and completely worth the money. We spent only $60 each including tip for a drink, oysters, bread, a side, a main, and a dessert. Considering everything was extremely delicious, I’d say our money was well spent. We ordered the duck frites and the duck pancakes and both were incredible. The duck pancakes were so interesting so if you’re wanting something adventurous I’d say go for it! The Paris Brest for dessert was very fresh and made in-house. I wish we were hungry enough to try a few more of the desserts! The staff was so friendly! It isn’t a super comfortable place, however, as it is mostly bar/high-top seating.

One of the fine restaurants in Portland! It perfectly blends a great time with awesome food that is incredibly tasty. The place is small but does feature a fair amount of walk up seating. We went without a reservation at 6pm and got one of the last open walk up seats. Overall amazing experience would absolutely go again!

Terrific food at a fun restaurant. Five of us at an outdoor table, shared 6 plates plus 3 desserts and we were stuffed. Our waiter was great. Everything was delicious. The Foie Gras Dumplings were amazing. Good drinks too.

Hi There, We do not offer parking. It is street parking. Best, Canard
Canard features a semi-rotating menu, but one that often includes various vegetarian options.
Yes. We can always do simple burgers and fries for kids in addition to what is on the menu. We can get full, and waiting can be hard with kids, so you may want to reserve. Thanks for your interest.
Absolutely. Most of their seating is walk-in only.
Currently we are not open for dining. We offer some limited take-away and operate as a bottle shop. A more detailed answer is at this link: https://canardpdx.com/covid-policies-canard.pdf
Mostly street parking and not very expensive. Busy area though so you may end up a couple blocks away especially if there is a concert at the music venue next door. The Parking Kitty app is awesome!
Walk in only.
No. This restaurant is for adults. Get a babysitter and enjoy some adult time. We all deserve it! 🥧
