Had a Great experience seeing Tim Heidecker perform here. The show was 100% visible even from the back row, the sound was really good the entire time, and the staff was friendly and helpful at the drink + snack counters. The whole place also has a very pleasant popcorn aroma.

The Barrymore is a lovely local spot for intimate shows and great service. Drinks are reasonably priced and the snacks hit the spot.

Absolutely amazing theater. Not a bad seat in the house. Love when I get to see shows there. They also serve popcorn during all concerts.

Loved the Old Fashioned building. The glowing stars on the ceiling were beautiful. Drinks were pricey but Great to have so we had an excuse to take our masks off temporally to drink (breath) during the show. We saw Drew Lynch. Not only did he put on a great show, we even got to meet him and get his autograph afterward. Donate to this great venue to remodel and update their seats. Another bonus, lots of nearby restaurants and bars to eat before the show so we had good parking in the back.

There is a lot directly behind the theater that can be accessed via a small side street. Otherwise lots of street parking nearby.
Your best bet is to stop in on a night when they have another event. Doors usually open one hour before the time of the show/performance.
Ann, the organizer of Listen To Your Mother, backed away from it and didn't approach us about doing it this year, unfortunately. It was always such a beautiful event. Hopefully it will be back in the future.
The Barrymore Box Office is only open on nights of shows and opens 90 minutes before showtime.
Approximately 6:45, 15 minutes before general admission ticket holders.
There are several outlets in Madison that you can purchase tickets from using cash or check, including B-Side Records, Frugal Muse, MadCity Music Exchange, Strictly Discs, Sugar Shack, and Star Liquor. You can find more information on their website here: https://barrymorelive.com/tickets/
My wife and I went to see Beth Hart there and I bought Gold Circle tickets. Seating up front ribboned off for those that had that ticket . Good deal I thought.
It's worth a shot yo! You can also call while they are open for another event
