Open later than most pet places in Madison. Great selection at retail pricing. People socially distance and employee I saw was masked and overworked. Only one register open seemingly at any one time. Very polite and informed staff though.

Hornworms are over priced 4/$9.99. You can get 25/$16.99 @ Reptile Rapture! Only 67 out of the 105 meal worms I just bought were alive. I'll be calling as soon as they open today to let them know. Hopefully they will compensate me for it. Other then that some things are a little overpriced but the animals seem healthy, store is always clean and staff is friendly and helpful. They did compensated me for the dead ones.

I take my dog to a number of places to get his nails trimmed, lately I've really liked the way the groomers at PetSmart have been doing his nails so we've been going typically to PetSmart West. Unfortunately, they've cut their walk-in services (which includes stand alone nail trims) due to staffing. An absolute bummer, but I loaded my dog back into the car and headed over to PetSmart East after calling to confirm walk-ins were still happening. We get there and I'm told there's a few dogs ahead and it'll be a 20-30 minute wait. A bit frustrating given that I just drove 20 minutes across town, but sometimes that's just the way it goes. I waited an hour before heading into the salon. I did not hear a page that they were ready, I was actually about to tell them that I would be leaving as I didn't have the patience to wait any longer, but luckily they were ready to take my dog. I don't know why it took an hour, it seemed like they were having computer issues, but it was not how I really wanted to spend my Sunday afternoon. Frustration and wait time aside, Victoria trimmed my dog's nails and he was an absolute SAINT for her - I've never actually seen him getting his nails done, but he's normally an escape artist/crybaby when I try to do it at home. Not a peep out of the boy and he was very willing to do what Victoria asked of him! Pretty sure my dog would give Victoria a 5 star rating due to the love he got, and I'm inclined to agree with him. 5 stars to all the staff at PetSmart, always, from myself and my wiggle butt dog. The stars taken off, however, are due to staffing levels and the intercom in the store. Perhaps, PetSmart, the issues with staff turnover are due to working conditions? Food for thought. I was impressed that there was more than one register open, but it felt like something was maybe going haywire in the back - any staff member I saw on the floor in the hour I was there looked pretty stressed. The intercom in the store also seems to be on the way out, as I had a very hard time hearing when they were paging other pet parents for salon pickups. I used to frequent this location for my dog's nail trims when I lived on the East Side and it seemed to work just fine a couple years ago? Not so much anymore. Overall I did get what I needed, I just wish it didn't take twice the wait time I was quoted!

Good variety of clearance items. Employee was quick to clean up a mess (bag of coconut fiber had split). They had a rescue group there with dogs and cats. (Sunday 6/23)

They have self service tag fabricators but staff will give you a hand.
I would call them first, but i would assume they would be available for a walk in anytime they are open within reason. Like not 5 minutes before they close or other comon sense things
They have them, not sure how much...
I believe so.
