Needed to get a birth certificate for my 9-month old. Came in on a Friday with no reservation. Found metered parking on the street. Filled out a form at the front lobby, then stood in a line with only one person in front of me. The lady who helped me was friendly and helpful and had me out of there with the birth certificate in hand in 3 min.

Had a homebirth, so had to get our own BC. Wendy was super helpful over the phone and via email, she responded really quick & got us a close appointment, and our girl Lorena at the office was great fun, helped us figure our situation and helped us quickly. Only negatives are standing outside the building in the cold with a newborn but it was less then 10 mins, we did arrive 15 mins early to our appointment and the toilets being closed, otherwise a quick and smooth appointment!

Yes you can. We got our daughter's there a week ago. You need to call, email them some documents, and then they will make an appointment for you. At least in the case of a newborn born outside of the hospital you get the certificate when you come for the appointment.

Depends on if you want the full death certificate or an "informational copy" where some info is redacted. I pull informational copys all the time and I just fill out the form. Maybe bring ID if you want an original copy. They'll have you fill out a form and you state your relation to the deceased.
