Very friendly people, and outstanding, made from scratch food. We tried the fried pickles and taters and onion for sides. Wife had beef brisket, I had pork Dixie Plates. Everything was 5 Star, and there is no way we could finish it all! We will be back for sure, thank you Kay and company. **** Went back for breakfast a few days later, I wish I could leave more than 5 stars ! I LOVED the authentic home made Sausage Gravy and Biscuits.

This is the classic southern bbq spot. Beside the road, smokers out back & very awesome southern hospitality. Food portions are overwhelming 😂. We had plenty of leftovers. Taste is absolutely on point. It’s similar to Kansas City style and honestly the best i found around the area. Pig Nachos & chicken wings,

This place has some good bbq! We found this jewel after a trip to Steel Creek Park wish we would have found it sooner. The pork is succulent and juicy. The beans were really good as were the taters n onions. I recommend you stop in for some of this good bbq on your next trip to this area. They have a wide selection of food and the prices are reasonable. There is very limited seating inside, but we chose to sit outside in the beautiful Tennessee weather.

The portions are large portions. I like the baked beans and slaw. The potato salad has large red potato pieces and bacon in them. I didnt care for the potato salad I lost the flavor of the potato salad to the large potato pieces or bacon pieces. I would prefer smaller pieces of bacon throughout and same with potato so I dont lose the flavor. The bbq is super smokey flavor. With large pieces of pork. Some shredded and not. The house blend bbq sauce is tasty. The original does not have as much flavor as the house blend. The new owners Miss Kay and her husband are super friendly. This is a super small place but worth the visit. I paid $15.80 for one person which surprised me. I usually pay around $8 bucks for everything. I didnt complain as these were large portions as pictured. The reason for a 3 review is the price and potato salad.
