A32 Semi shaded, across from bathroom which was spotless, fire ring littered with trash, quiet and nearly dark due to bathroom light. Water was great short walk.

really nice campground. The bathrooms was always clean showers were decent for a campground. This campground gets busy on weekends. a lot of regulars, it seemed everyone knew each other. You can swim right off the shore if thats your thing. we had site A005 right of the lake which is nice. We would go back again if we were doing a "lake" camping. If you rent a boat Id look for better prices other than wax marina. CONS: lots of ticks and this place is not minutes from Mammoth cave, its more like an hour. gps said 50 MINUTES from MAMMOTH CAVE. the green river ferry saves you 5 minutes. We camped to go to the cave. I would recommend staying in Cave City for that. We spent 2 days in cave city and getting there from Wax is a boring crazy drive. The roads are barely 2 lanes and most speeds are 45-55. there is a dollar general right down the road which is super handy. I would come back now that I know where everything is. I find the corps of engineer campgrounds to be nice clean and well maintained.

Really nice camp grounds. Lots of pull through spots available. All spots are at angles to make backing in easy. Great shady lot with crush rock patios and parking pads to keep you mud free. Clean bathhouses. Easy in and out traffic pattern.

Campsites in A and B are close together. Lots of load music. People were not there to enjoy the beauty, stillness, and sounds of Nature. We've stayed at several Army Corp campgrounds in other states, and they have always been spacious and quiet. I don't know what it is about the Army Corp campgrounds on Nolin River Lake, but the 3 we stayed at have packed in tight sites and lots of loud music. It was great to see kids out playing hard and having a good time riding bikes and such, but the "grown ups" were playing hard, too -- they were playing who could play their music the loudest.

If the campground is open it should be.
Campground is available for camping beginning May 17th through September 3rd (Peak season) so I'd say the answer is yes.
Yes you can but there is no dock so it would be to the shore and a tree. There is a small cove to the right at the water line off of the A sites that is best. Just be careful though as there are some rocks. It is best to be in a pontoon or Tritoon though. Hope this helps
Yes as long as your not loud or causing problems, please be discrete
