Great place to take the dog. Lots of friendly ones. Good place to let them run.

My dog LOVES this park. I'd say it's her favorite. The dog park is a great size with 2 separate fenced off areas. It's absolutely beautiful. Large lawns. Picnic tables on both sides & several BBQ's on the west side of the park. The creek runs on both sides & bathrooms. I don't know if they're finally unlocking them or not. If not, they NEED TO.

I go to the Doyle park clubhouse on Friday evenings and occasionally to walk around the park or watch baseball when a game is being played. It is a nice park again, finally after SRPD and the city got the Riff-Raff out that used to hang out there all day and night and then they cleaned the place up. Very pleasant now.

This dog park is a great way to let your dog off to have a little fun. There are plenty of off-leash dogs around the dog park too (only technically allowed in the early morning). There are two sections so dogs can have the chance to get to know each other first if your dog needs that. There are a strange amount of entrances to this dog park, however, but you should only use the double-barrier entrance on the baseball diamond side to keep the dogs as safe as possible.

Questions & Answers

I saw cops running hobos out of this park. Can hobos go bere?

What do you define as "hobos" ? If you're referring to homeless people, they are asked to leave at night & during the day if they are up to no good. HOWEVER, there are some homeless people who park there, (and aren't "hobos") who are spending the day there. I have taken water, blankets & other misc things there. They are always grateful.

Is this park still full of hobos?

This is a nice park. I have issues with all the people walking there dog's off their leashes and running everywhere. The homeless people are very nice and more respectful than most. God bless you all.
