Always friendly customer service on the phone and with in-person interactions. They are always so nice and accommodating to an elderly neighbor of ours who have a hilly driveway. They will get the trash cans for these elderly neighbors every week because it isn't safe for the neighbor to walk down the steep path. We have forgotten once or twice to put our cans out and they have kindly helped us out. Also, the employees are so nice to wave and be friendly when my 1.5 year old excitedly waves and watches the truck go by :)

I have had service through Apex for 5 years or so now after switching from their primary competitor, and I haven't had a single issue in those five years, which is more than I can say for the last company. I recently contacted Apex to upgrade the size of my trash bin, and they made it a quick and painless process. Very friendly service too.

We recently moved from Eugene to Springfield and our only disappointment to this major change was this: We now have NO options for trash pickup. Apparently Springfield contracts with Sanipac as the only garbage service. We would much rather keep our money with a local, family owned business than a large, uncaring corporation! Definitely miss the prompt pickup and warm; professional service that we received from Lane Apex for 10 plus years. I hope Springfield wakes up and starts giving its residents options!

Apex has been so positive and responsive to my needs. They pick up on time! The gals in the office are very kind and professional. They are also very knowledgeable and helpful. When I had some difficulty switching from the old system to the new, they walked me right through it to get autopay set up correctly again. When my credit card expired and I missed a payment because I forgot to go into the system and update my card, they were so gracious and waved the late fee! Truly a caring company!!

You can leave extra trash next to the can and the driver will take care of it. I'm not 100% sure on how much it costs but there is a charge. No need to schedule ahead unless it's large bulky items that may need a different truck to pick it up.
Go to https://heyapex.com/residential and scroll down to pickup schedules.
Jon- just flatten the boxes and place next to or behind your green recycle cart on your pickup day and the driver will take the excess cardboard. Thanks for asking Sam Apex Recycling
Holiday weekend pushed them behind a day
Kathy, Yes, service is delayed one day this week due to the holiday. So pickup for the Ryan meadows neighborhood will be on Saturday June 1st. We are aware of the neighborhood garage sale in that area and as such will be doing our collection in that neighborhood first thing Saturday morning just prior to 7am so we will be out if the area by the time people start arriving for the garage sales
If the vacuum cleaner still works, then you could donate it to Goodwill for reuse. If it doesn’t work, then you can place it by your trash cart to be taken as trash.
The blue cart is for trash and the green cart is for commingled recycling. The only items we can accept in the green cart are: newspaper, cardboard, tin cans, aluminum foil, and plastic drink bottles and milk jugs. All the items that you put into the green cart must be clean and flattened if possible (boxes and milk jugs). We cannot accept any plastic tubs, jars or containers (luandry detergent, etc.) as these are prohibited by the processors that take the re ycling from us. We have a complete list of the items we accept and do not accept on our website (www.laneapex.com) under the recycling tab.
The schedule was included in the billing statements for December and January and will be posted on our website by today.
No we ado not accept waste. You can call Lane Forest Products. They offer yard debris and wood recycling.
Actually the shredded paper must go into a paper bag that is closed. Shredded paper cannot be put in any type of plastic bag or it would be considered contamination. We can no longer accept loose shredded paper due to the new recycling restrictions from the recycle processors. Sam Miller Owner Lane Apex Disposal
Prices for our services are dependent on the area. Please contact our office at 541-607-0242 to get our rates. Thank you.
Anne- Yes crushed newspaper is acceptable for recycling. Just place it loose in your recycle carts. We cannot accept it in plastic bags.
