These guys have it figured out, I don’t travel to the beach expecting fine food selections however authenticity is their thing, the Italian food is delectable, bread fresh-baked and the service timely and kind. Would definitely recommend this place, everything was good including our substation requests.

Delicious, fresh, authentic! Such a wonderful meal. My husband and I celebrated our anniversary here, and did not leave disappointed. Reservations are a must, we were sat immediately. Our server, Chris, was absolutely Fantastic! He was super attentive, gave recommendations, and provided us with the utmost hospitality! Stuffed Portobello is amazing, deserts are yummy, great wine selection. Cozy, clean, left very pleased. We are locals and will return and bring our out of town guests here for sure!

Such a nice place to enjoy a meal in Kure Beach! Reservations recommended because it's usually busy. Meal starts with warm bread and olive oil. Entrees come with a garden salad with tomatoes/beets/chickpeas. I have gotten the yummy lasagna twice here, and it's contains an awesome cheese blend. Nice dessert options and wine available too. Highly recommend!

Freddie's has huge portions and great well balanced flavors. While most places of this ilk would drown your food in butter or smother it in garlic, here you can actually taste the food. The tiramisu is excellent. The bruschetta was decent, and the shrimp scampi was well done. It is a little cramped feeling at first but once you're in your booth it feels a little more spacious. I HIGHLY recommend getting a reservation rather than just showing up. The only reason this gets 4 stars instead of five is that I honestly just wasn't blown away. It was good. We will likely go back at some point. It just wasn't knock your socks off amazing. 🤷🏻♀️

We are following the state mandate on occupancy and table spacing. All tables are sanitized between seatings. Each night we use an electrostatic spray throughout the entire restaurant with a disinfectant designed for coronavirus.
Probably not due to covid
They are known for their pork chops...but the Ribeye is IMO hands down the best steak in the greater Wilmington area, if not eastern NC. You will not find a better steak. Not to mention it comes with an incredible salad and a side of Spaghetti with meat sauce! Pair it up with a dirty martini with daily made blue cheese stuffed olives. FYI...the Ribeye is what I order everytime we go to Freddie's.
Well Ann, I'd give them a call (910) 458-5979, if they are open you would need a reservation to get in. You will find their staff friendly, knowledgeable and happy to chat with you.
Freddie's does not take reservations. If you plan on bringing a large party, call before you go and they will do their best to accommodate you.
Sure, but the service and ambiance are worth staying for.
I think there is a thanksgiving special but it might require reservations. Not sure if it is on Thursday or not. I would guess all reservations are already booked.
