Decent bank to conduct business with. They will discriminate against you it's happened 3 times to me personally. Then I had the bank teller tell me they have to hold my check because the amount I was trying to deposit wasn't matching with my balance ... um what .? .. Overall it's a good bank, nice people, but care to the community needs to improve!

I called the bank twice today and my husband called 2 times as well. My husband left a detailed message as asked in the recording since teller line was busy. No one called us back. Pulled up at Drive Through at 5:06 pm. The teller Sandra advised they close at 5:00 now and she couldn't help. I tried to explain the situation. I also had my husband on my cell phone also trying to help understand and explain. Sandra refused to help. She blamed it being the 1st as why no one called us back. Garrett also a teller did nothing to help. All I needed to do was transfer between 2 Heritage Grove accounts and this is something I cannot do on the website or app because they are not shared accounts.This is a transfer I have made monthly for 6 years. The right thing to do would have been to make an exception and process the transfer. Apologize for not returning my call and offering to have a manager call back tomorrow. I have banked at this credit union for 9 years and I have never been treated so poorly. Where has customer service gone in this world?

You cant call any of there numbers after 5pm to get help with your cards. There toll free number is disconnected that it shows in there mobile app. My credit card isn't being accepted at stores and I don't know why. This has happened multiple times including when I have been out of state. Edit: They called me and rectified the issue the monday after that weekend. The lady that called me was very nice and help full. The number on the mobile app was wrong and so they are going to fix that.

Update::: Recieved a call from the credit union and it was a miscommunication. It wasn't the date on the check that caused the issue at all, it was a flaw in their system. I was actually short $.51 on my payment and the system automatically reported me. They agreed it was a flaw and promised to correct the report to the credit agency. There are actually still decent people in the industry. Thank you Heritage Grove CU for helping restoring a little bit of faith in humanity! ************* Had my loan with Heritage Grove for over 2 years. They were a great company to work with...until now. I've experiences many hardships recently and one was the loss of my job. In spite of this I remained in contact with Heritage Grove, was able to skip a payment, and even with the little bit of money I was getting from unnemployment, I stayed on track with my payments. For 6 months these guys made me feel like I actually mattered and during this time, that meant a lot. That all changed recently. I made my February payment, and although I did use my grace period given, I personally delivered the check to Heritage Grove. 5 days later I get a call saying they cant cash my check because I accidentally wrote the previous year (it was Feb so kinda a new year) on it. I explained that I would not be in town until the following weekend and they happily told me it was no problem and made light of it. Well then another few days went by and my bank statement shows that they cashed the check. Cool! One less trip for me and it's taken care of. Well it should have been. Nope! They reported me as late on my credit report! Dropped my score 50 points!! I called and talked to a very nice woman. She too didn't understand why that happened but ensured me that the finance manager would call me and hopefully straighten this out. Well the finance manager refuses to call and explain this to me and even validated the dispute I made to the credit agency. Talk about kicking people that are already down! So while I thought I had found a company that took pride in their name and actually cared about their customers, I was very wrong! I've been treated better by Wells Fargo! Are there no good people left in this industry? Heidi M
