Amazing service, always cooked to perfection. One of the many good DQ locations even under immense tourist pressure. Awesome manager. Blizzards always turned upside down.

Emerald Isle NC DQ used to be a great place to get a quick bite to eat with a wonderful staff. went in yesturday again (after a bad experience a couple of weeks ago) for lunch and after 15 minutes of waiting...FOR 2 CHEESEBURGERS i finally asked how much longer. they couldnt tell me lol so i asked for a refund. after another 5 minutes of her trying to figure that out the very rude and unrushed manager Allison told me they were short staffed smh...excuses for sure.... 3 ppl. Tuesday lunch. maybe 3 tables seated already and 2 more behind me to order. not busy. one guy was breaking down boxes and the cashier was stocking lol. i saw the manager leave where she was making orders 9 times while i stood there!!! seemed very unorganized with no sense of urgency at all. havent seen the new owners in there since they opened which is probably part of the issue...old owners were there every day behind the counter grinding it out with their employees. you can see the difference. i will NEVER visit again. allison needs a conversation about her attitude.
