the hotel is right on the beach which is really nice. pretty beach with lifeguards. the hotel itself is staffed by some really friendly people but could use some updating. a few things in there were dated, didn't work etc. still for a beach hotel at that price point, it was worth it!

My wife and I stayed here the first weekend in April. Our stay was FANTASTIC! This was a weekend get-a-way for us. We had never been to Emerald Isle. The hotel staff was very friendly and welcoming. The gentleman who checked us in offered some great advise on places to eat and visit. Our room was exceptionally clean and cozy. The bed was very comfortable. The hotel offered some great amenities, including bicycles to ride on the beach or around the island. Upon checkout, the ladies working the desk were very friendly and appreciative of our stay. We will definitely be back!! We had a wonderful stay at a great hotel!

Took a spur of the moment birthday trip and ended up staying at the Islander. Was my first time staying here but definitely not my last. Check in was a breeze and they checked on me once I entered my room to make sure everything was up to par and that I had everything I needed. The room was great. Clean and spacious.

We will DEFINITELY be back! Easy check-in...Thank You Kat and convenient check-out...Thank You Ally. We enjoyed our stay. Spacious and clean room. Some disappointments were very poor water pressure in the shower, bad placement of the squeaky but comfortable bed(made it difficult to get in and out on one side) and debris from construction in the parking lot. These things weren't deal breakers. Overall we enjoyed our short getaway and look forward to visiting again.
