We were here visiting for the holiday weekend and decided to try this place out. Although we understood they were busy, the service at the bar we got was extremely slow. The waiter took about 20 mins to take our food order (when others around us were not waiting that long) and I asked for a chicken quesadilla and the photo is what I received. Basically just grilled chicken thrown in a tortilla and I asked for jalapeños inside as well as beans instead of a salad and none of my requests were done. The food had no flavor and was not worth $60.

Very nice place to eat! You want authentic Mexican food? Bet, this is by far the best spot in Emerald Isle. Want a nice margarita? I highly recommend the mango margarita. I give this spot a 10/10… sorry El Zarape

If you are looking for authentic Mexican with a flare of creative flare on certain items! Come on down. The food is above and beyond delicious! We got bacon covered cheese filled shrimp! Jalapeno poppers, fancy drinks and delicious food! The waiters are kind and attentive. Great queso and fancy colored chips!! Sweet tea is perfection.

If you are looking for excellent service and delicious Mexican food at reasonable prices then this is your place. My wife and I ordered the fajitas for one and there was a piping hot plate piled with steak, chicken, peppers, onions, etc. Highly recommend. Very kind staff who are one the ball! The chips and salsa were tasty as well.
