The sweet tea and the food was great! The exception was the cole slaw, it had no flavor, disappointing. The server was Amanda. She filled our glasses constantly and cleared our plates. Servers are not that attentive anymore, she was. There was no wait on a Friday evening and we were seated immediately. I did want a strawberry daqueri and was told they do not have frozen drinks. We almost left because of that, but we are glad we stayed.

Hit or miss, I enjoy the atmosphere. The food is okay, better than most the area places, it’s not high end cuisine. I am a foodie and most of these dishes are easily duplicated at home at much better quality. I gave them 4 stars because the views are amazing and the staff are nice. The food needs to be elevated just a bit. They need to use some higher end ingredients.

Our last night at Emerald Isle we decided the 12 of us would go here for dinner. One of our sons had been earlier in the week & had the popcorn shrimp & said it was the best he had eaten down that way. They close at 8, which seemed strange but... The last of our party got there a little after 7. They knew we had a large party & seated us as soon as everyone was there. Our waiter was efficient. Two of us ordered coffee, which was not very hot when we got it, & we were never offered a refill. I believe on the other beverages, everyone had to ask for refills. My husband & I both had the fried popcorn shrimp; he had a baked potato & I had the fries. The shrimp also came with slaw (a little dry & not too good) & 2 hush puppies, which were good & not sweet like what is usually served in most seafood restaurants. Overall, it was a good experience & we will go again when we are in that area.

Always have lunch with my Mom when I'm in town and we Always eat here! The food is fantastic. Their clam chowder is one of the best you'll ever have and treat yourself to a dessert. Puppy pudding and a cup of coffee is the perfect ending to a great meal
