Went here a while back and the part I was sold for my mower was the wrong part. I went to another dealer and they were able to look up the part easily and offered to order it. Instead I went back to this shop to see if the owner would do the same and exchange the part. He told me I had to have serial numbers and bar codes etc... or he did not want to waste time looking it up. I even showed him the broken part but he refused to even look for it. Maybe it didn’t make enough profit for him. I do not recommend this shop to anyone. Very unprofessional. If you go here You will be disappointed!!

The only reason I am giving a single star is because the "Rate and Review" software will not let you leave any comments unless you rate the establishment at least one star. The gentleman who assisted me at the office's counter this afternoon was extremely impudent and condescending. My specific need and request for a replacement governor spring for my nearly-new lawnmower became an obvious point-of-departure outside his normal realm of expertise and understanding ... I was willingly helped, graciously, by a local competitor.

My mower has never worked better but the final bill was $135 after I was quoted $70-80. When I explained that I was surprised and did not feel as informed as I expected to be about greatly exceeding the bid I was dismissed as unreasonable and asked if I was going to pay or not. Again, the repair was good but they lack in customer service skills. Use at your own risk.

I have taken all my small engine tools to John for repair and I've never been disappointed in almost 17 years. He does a good job of diagnosing problems and explains options clearly. Good value for his expertise.
