The pizza isn’t that bad. But the service there is awful. When you call to talk to the girl on the phone. She’s reading a script and it’s very difficult to engage in any dialogue because it’s like a person being programed to be a machine. Very automated like., makes it very difficult to order Because instead of listening to what I want and giving me time to ask questions, she just guides the whole conversation into One Direction. People don’t like talking to machines or people who pretend like they are. We like real conversations. Then when I asked to do a split payment I was transferred to someone else who said “Thank you for calling Papa John’s” and before I could get the first word out he hung up on me. This is after I had already got through spending a bunch of time with the human robot trying to make the order and telling her to hold on I had other stuff I wanted to order because she kept trying to get to the conclusion and take my payment before I was done making the order. Customer service is declining a great deal nowadays and it is happening to some of the places that you would think would have a good customer service. I love Papa John’s Pizza but I wish some of these food places would find better people to work for them, they’re going to end up being replaced with robots if they keep it up.

I did the Drive Up Pick-up. The instructions are to stay in your vehicle and someone would bring the food to you. One of the employees kept peeking out the window looking at me laughing. I finally decided to drive around. And they went NOT business at ALL.

Normally I don't do this but I'm beyond annoyed. I put my order for delivery in at 7:25PM today. 4 hours later and I was still waiting for my food. I tried calling multiple times and when I finally got someone on the phone, they said they would remake it and send it to me. Now here it is almost closing time and I still have not seen my food and sitting on hold, again. Really wouldn't bother with delivery for this place. You're better off going to pick it up or even using doordash. Good luck. My dad and I are new to the area and I will be telling him not to order from here either.

I've never had a bad experience here. The staff is always polite and aim to produce excellent pizzas. I would definitely consider this location as the best in Charlotte, I've ordered from every location. Whenever I'm in the mood for pizza instead of a burger Google maps takes me to the closest Papa Johns. Old Statesville Road is ALWAYS PERFECT!!!
