Third opportunity to take this awesome tour! This time, I brought my boyfriend! Our first driver was Benjamin, and we got off on Coronado Island. After hanging out on the island and getting some lunch, we hopped back on to have Captain Bob as our navigator. I have had the privilege of having Captain Bob before, and he's right on top of the history! That's what makes these tours so awesome: each time I obtain a different piece of knowledge! We rode to Old Town and adventured on our own for a bit. Once we re-boarded, we had Nico as our guide back to the Gaslamp Quarter. All three guides offered up superb historical information! This is turning into a habit when I visit San Diego, so I can say with certainty, "see you next time!"

This was a fun and entertaining tour because we had a good tour guide named Dante. He was very knowledgeable and it made the tour exciting with the extra tidbits of information he shared. It takes a little over two hours, depending on if you stay on, but if you want to hop off at a stop, you can and take the next trolley since they run every 20 minutes. Vania who sold us the tickets was very nice and helpful.

We had a great time on the tour but being local to socal and within an hour drive we probably would have just went directly to our 2 stops (maritime museum and little Italy). I would highly suggest going for anyone out of town or not familiar with that area. Even though we have been down to SD at least a dozen times, we didn't know how amazing the maritime museum is! It was so worth it! Took almost 3 hours on the 1st of 12 stops! We took the 40 minute boat tour along with touring the ships. It was so amazing and detailed.

I was hesitant to do such a “touristy” thing, but hey - we were tourists! Captain Milo gave us history, comedy, practical and fascinating facts as drove through San Diego. People hopped on and off throughout the tour with no complications. We went straight from our hotel to the stop and got off in Old Town before returning. I liked that I didn’t miss things as I would have driving my family around. We enjoyed going over the Coronado bridge!

Around 30 bucks
It also depends on the package you choose
Yes. I believe they will let you ride until you get to Old Town and you can pay there.

Buy your tickets online saves you a few dollars. Its a great tour. Got off in Coronado spent the whole day there. Bring a towel. Beach is beautiful.
I liked the tour, it was a nice way to get your bearings of the area. You probably wouldn't have time to get off anywhere though.
As I remember, yes. But not %100 sure
The stops are the same all year around. The old town tour includes: Old Town State Park Harbour Cruise Ship Terminal and the USS Midway Aircraft Carrier Seaport Village Marriott Marguis and Marina Horton Plaza Gaslamp Quarter Hilton Bayfront McPs Irish Pub Balboa park, San Diego Zoo and Museums. Little Italy These tours are fantastic, professional and well narrated by experience, professional guides. We stopped off in Little Italy for lunch and loved it. I could day dream and imagine that I really was in Italy.
There is no stop at the Zoo. The stop is Balboa Park. It's walkable.
I was not driving but I did not see one either sorry
Just don't sit by the windows in the front. The exhaust is so strong it might make you dizzy. I had a really bad time while we were sitting at a stop light.
The Trolley I was on did have wheelchair capability. The passenger was loaded via a back door.
Tickets are around $36 each. Great way to see San Diego! You can jump on and off the trolleys at different points of interest. Great value, and the trolley conductors are full of historical facts and are wonderful entertainers!
You would probably need to call. My guess is no. We took the beach tour. Obviously we had no dogs on it. I would think if a big dog can't go neither could a little one, and I don't think they are. Sorry I couldn't be more helpful
Can i know where exactly to.park.for free?
9AM to 5PM you can Check there website or call them
Clockwise direction
I think you will find the last trolley at some or all of the stops to return to old Town at 5pm.
Sorry I don't know. I was there in the afternoon.
No
Yes
I paid about 40 USD at the hotel concierge but you may be able to find better rates. You can stay on the tour and choose where to get off If you want but don't have to so it should be fine for your grandma.
Maybe $25.00. It is best to find out online. Good luck!
