This place was great came here for the first time with my son. Jeff helped walk us through how to use the cages, and even gave my son some solid pointers on his stance and swing. Location was busy at night and yet he still took the time to ensure my son was practicing the right way. Highly recommend this place. Make a reservation and swing away!

In San Diego for vacation . Son wanted some practice while on vacation. Great place to hit. Different speeds up to 80mph. Clean establishment nice neighborhood. Great staff. Would highly recommend.

They're so darn friendly! I brought a bunch of Connect English students in to try hitting a baseball. For most of the students it was the first time ever trying it. They loved it! We got two cages and rotated the students in. Brickyard had all the equipment right there for everyone to try on and try out. We spent an hour swinging the bat and improving everyone's skills. We will be back again this year, and twice a year forever, I imagine. :-)

The coaches at the Backyard have really helped my son enjoy baseball. He is really intimidated by the actual sport but they have gotten him to hit, throw and catch better than I can but really the fact he likes it makes all the difference in the world. They might not be the least expensive but I recommend them. Especially coach Andrew and Chris.

If you are planning on going after school gets out, I would highly suggest setting an appointment since boys baseball and girls softball is in season.

It depends, if you go for someone to give you training is different price then if you go there to do self training, and it will be the same price. Self practice/ machine pitching is about $44 hourly and Military $39. But it's always good to call and ask before going. Those guys are great.

Can you rent bats to use or do you have to bring your own?

Yes you can rent bats

How much is a bucket of baseballs

The prices are set for cage time, not necessarily by the amount of baseballs.
