We had a wonderful experience living at Seascape the past 3 years. The units and community amenities are newly renovated, it’s located in a quiet neighborhood in a fantastic location, and the staff was incredibly attentive and responsive. I’d recommend to anyone I know!

I loved living here. Got to know a lot of the neighbors who are all very wonderful. Things got a little crazy with the pools being closed down for Covid-19. Had to make appointments at unusual and inconvenient hours. They were dragging their feet opening them back up for normal access. Now that they are open again, things have been awesome. They got a little weird about having certain things on out patio. (We had the same lights that all the other neighbors had on their patios and they went around telling everyone they need to be on the inside of the balcony. I think someone from cooperate must have been doing a check that week because they haven't made a big deal about anything since.) Besides that this neighborhood is extremely beautiful and is walking distance from the beach, park and the elementary school. It is very ideal for people with kids. I am in my 20's and now that things are opening up many of my friends want to go out down in PB or downtown and the downside to living here is that Ubers are very expensive to go out that way at night. I am going to be leaving Seascape but will be moving to another Irvine property because they have earned my trust.

I am truly surprised that the last reviews are all negative. We moved here around 5 months ago and so far so good. Our unit was renovated just before we moved. We liked the brand new appliances and the design in general. AC and heater is super quite and the heat isolation of the unit is just great. Location and neighborhood is awesome too. You are few minutes away from the ocean and Costco. Poinsettia park is amazing and will be even better once they finish the playground. The complex has a pretty playground for the kids and parking lots are also nice with plenty of guest parking. They also do a nice landscaping near the renovated units, looks and smells beautiful outside. There are few negative issues though. First of all, the unleashed dogs of the residents. Some people even let their aggressive dogs run around the playground while little kids are there and scared. These unthoughtfull folks should be warned seriously. Balcony tops are open and it is very hard to put or store anything there due to the rain and sun. They should have done something for it during renovation but it is how it is... Finally, yes it is a bit pricey but they have some deals like 1k discount for the first month. So overall, We had a four star experience so far. I will keep updating it.

DO NOT MOVE HERE. The rent is too high, and even with the renovation it is not worth living here at least until all construction is completed. We signed a lease hoping the construction on our building would also be nearly done, 4 months later they are giving us ONE BUSINESS DAY NOTICE that they needed to enter our apartment multiple times for city inspections, and they even failed the first inspection so they had to come back again and still did not give sufficient notice. We did not even need to be in the apartment to let anyone in because they accessed the area from an adjacent apartment. The leasing office staff tries to be helpful but all they care about is getting new leases signed. They are not helpful to current residents, they do not give sufficient notice in regards to construction, and even fail to be transparent about aspects of construction. The leasing office took parking spots that are shared between three separate apartment buildings for themselves and said they needed to be more 'centrally located to residents'. I have not seen them once near my building, they just want a shorter walk to their office from their car. When I asked them to relocate parking, they told me to park on the street! What the heck am I paying for? Not to mention they gave us a two day advance notification that the main amenities (printing center, fitness center, and main pool and jacuzzi) areas were no longer accessible because they are doing construction and won't be available till June, which is when our lease ends. They cite your lease agreement as a scapegoat, so be prepared to hear a bunch of lies and vague responses if you deal with them. Don't apologize to me over and over, DO SOMETHING about our complaints!
