I lived at Villa Loma apartments for 21 years. I had to move down south. :( I will Always be grateful for the privilege to live in such beautiful city like Carlsbad. I was treated very well all those years and when I moved out I got all my money from my deposit. I have absolutely No complains about anybody or anything in this place. Whoever lives there should be grateful.

If you are in need of affordable housing, this community has the most affordable pricing in Carlsbad. However, be aware that the manager and the majority of the staff are not very friendly. In addition, you can expect to get many notices on your door about EVERY small minute thing that they can enforce. There is also a VERY strict parking policy, so expect frequent towings, and don't plan on have friends park in the community after 10PM. Lastly, don't expect to get your deposit back. No matter if you clean, clean the carpet, or take good care of the walls, they will bring in professional cleaners, clean the carpets and charge you a pro-rated fee on wear and tear, and paint no matter what. After all their fees, I only got $99 back on my $700 deposit. Appreciate it's affordability, but don't expect the warm and fuzzies.
