Prepaid for $25 and have a pending charge for $150. If this was a fill-up I might understand even though every other gas station in existence the charge comes off for what you actually paid instantly but this was not a fill. I am concerned that this is fraud. If the charge does not come off in the next day I will be reporting theft. Very shady operation here.

I don't normally post stuff like this, but I feel like I need to give out a warning. On my way to work this morning, I stopped at the Shell station in West Salem. I paid cash and gave my money to the older man running the pumps. I wasn't paying much attention, and when he closed my gas tank and I told me I was okay to leave I never double-checked the pump. When I started my car and checked my gas gauge, no gas had been put into my vehicle. I reversed back to the same pump I had sat at and confronted the same attendant who had taken my money. He claimed not to know me, and to have never taken my money. We argued for a while, he denied ever seeing me and said he hadn't helped anyone at the pump I was at. He also told me he was the only attendant so it could not have been another employee who took my money. It wasn't until I told him to bring me his manager so we could check the cameras/count the till, and told him I would call the police that he agreed to pump my gas for the amount he took from me. If you ever stop at the Shell in West Salem, either pay inside or pay with a card. He showed no remorse, and although it may have been an accident, it felt intentional, and his denial of seeing me not even five minutes before leads me to believe it was on purpose. I highly encourage everyone to avoid this gas station.

Today me and my friend were screamed at my en employee at this location. My friend driving pointed out that they had left us waiting for a long time at an out of service pump, and he yelled at us "that's not my problem" so my friend replied "Well it is, you work here. You could have told us." He continued to yell to we drove off and this full grown man yelled at us the ENTIRE time we were driving away. I've never been so disrespected by a customer service person. Maybe dude was having a bad day, but that was SO out of pocket.

Getting gas here takes 10 minutes before they come up to your window and and additional 10 minutes after getting the gas and the nozzle taken care of. On my last visit at this location, I actually saw 2 other customers remove the nozzle themselves because they were sick of waiting. Plus, they are very dry and lack costumer service skills. They always grab my money slow and say nothing as the walk away. I guess not properly trained or just slow employees. It's costing this location money.

Yes I believe it's $1.75 to use
If you see the charge in your account, but know that it didnt show that price at the gas station, it is probably just an authorization hold. You can call and have tour bank look over it.
