Underbelly

I've had alot of Japanese food, and I know what I want and what I like. Me and some friends got the Underbelly of the Beast Ramen, A Porkbelly bao (comes with two buns), and the Meat Bento. The ramen needed more flavor and was missing that kick, along with all the other items. Honestly, my favorite things were the Baos and the Gyoza. The Baos also had some flaws, since I didnt like the cucumber in them and they needed more sauce. If I could, I would give a 3.4 because it was a nice experience but was missing that little kick that would make it amazing.

Don't let the bad reviews fool you; this is an excellent place to get your ramen cuisine. Parking is available on each side in the public lots or on the street. Prices are fair and affordable. Drinks are the right choice for this style of food, and they take requests. The wait in line is no problem considering how fast the turnaround time is. The best part for sure was the vibe. Just try to get to the bottom of the bowl. Good luck.

Amazing ambiance and dining experience. The place gets full and appears to always have a que so expect a wait before being seated. Orders are taken before being seated and drinks served immediately so there's no wait. Had the bento and the chicken wings in Korean prep. The portions were great and tasty.

Good food and service! Really nice broth that isn't overly salty or heavy. The bowl looks a bit small when it first comes out but I think it's the perfect size. It's probably too big at most ramen restaurants. Very unique decor (black tiles with hot pink grout and neon lights)
