What a wonderful place to learn to about the boats and water!

The Youth Aquatic Center is currently fully utilized by the San Diego-Imperial Council of the Boy Scouts of America as Camp Fiesta Island, a week long experience for scouts from all over the Southwest. One of a very few camps on salt water, they learn canoeing, kayaking, small boat sailing, fishing, and many other great outdoor activities and skills.

Wow!! The BSA has a stunning spot on fiesta island (tent was 10 feet from the bay at high tide!) Fairly well set aside from the crowds on fiesta island in summertime... Definitely coming back here soon ☆☆☆☆☆

Been here several times over the years and every time I come I've tried something new. That's how much fun this place is. It helps that my boys and I are affiliated with the Boy Scouts of America (Scouts USA), but aside from that people of all ages can join in the fun with canoeing, kayaking, sailing, paddle boarding, they even have several local canoe clubs that store and race their "Dragon Boats" out of the Youth Aquatic Center.

No. It’s a BSA only camp. The park closes at 9pm otherwise.
Yes they are. I work for the summer camp.
Yes! Careful, though. There is no dedicated bike lane, and instead cars and bikes share the road.
