I was at this thrift store yesterday . While shopping I had the urgency to use the restroom. I went to the restroom and it had a big sign " Out of order" at the door. I went to checkout the items I have, I mentioned to the cashier about the sign at the restroom door and that I saw and employee using the restroom. Apparently the manager's store was at the other register and she heard my complaint. That woman turned around and said to me in a very rude and agresive tone," the restroom is only for employees".. I replied to her, "then why are you telling the customers the restroom is out of order? you are lying to the customers. Then she responded to me , "you wouldn't know how to flushed the toilet" I told her to show me how to used it, then I will know. Very unprofessional person to represent any business.

Very big store with ample in store space to move around. Have seen lots of stuffs other than cloths too. Very affordable price with lots of options. Right in the Poway main road. Parking might be an issue when store is busy, the outside parking can accomodate ~40 cars only. But worth a visit!

Good selection of items, which is the reason for the 2 stars, however this location lacks customer service. The woman at the register demanded I remove the hangers off the clothes, which I would have no problem doing if she asked *nicely* , especially since I'm the customer. I especially didn't like her tone, as if I was inconveniencing her. I usually like to look around at Goodwill, where they have great customer service, but decided to stop here for a change. Never again will I come here.

C'mon man, it's the Salvation Army. For what it is (and what it is is a donation based resale store), it's really not that bad. I go here occasionally to find good deals on slightly used shirts. Sometimes I drop off things that I no longer use. It helps people, and that's a good thing.

They gladly accept all garments☺
They do take used CDs
If they have one in stock.
I believe they take anything they have a little bit of everything I see
10am to 5:30pm
No
I'm pretty sure they accept donations until the store closes.
"The guy wearing red Hispanic!?" Is that even a question? Your comment doesn't even have an explanation as to what they did to make you feel they were so rude. I know that the staff gets a lot of people coming in stealing, trashing the place, and people bargaining for better prices. Not sure about the poway location but at the downtown salvation army, I've seen a customer with mental issue start spitting on everything. Another day I saw somebody try to steal chainsaw and he started to try to hit one of the women staff members. Another day someone stole a customer's bike that they left outside. And the staff tried to chase them down.... I say give them some slack. They put up so much. They don't get paid much.they just has to be firm about things. So if a staff member didnt give you that discount you wanted. Or didnt give you the time you desired. Try to remember, they sort through mounds of people's trash everyday to find few items that maybe valuable to you.
More than likely. Would call to be sure..
Sometimes they have clothes dryers. The inventory changes every day.
Yes they have a tag sale every day, just not sure what tag color today
Yes, call 1800SAtruck and you can schedule a pickup...
1800 SA truck
If you believe someone can reuse it in their home...
No only box springs
Best to call the store directly and ask.
Calling first is the best thing to do because things consistently change. I just recently saw older gas dryers that worked well (allegedly) for sale at this location.
I haven't seen any of that material there. Best to call and inquire
Yes they do
Their gate locks at a point each day blocking access to donation area in back. But there are at timed donations are received on Sundays though the store is closed on Sunday. You might call their phone to get up to date information. A new store is being built next door. The store is open Monday though Saturday & closes at 7 pm. Donations close at 5:30 pm to my knowledge.
Closed??
I've been many times and never seen any cars for sale there.
