This place used to be so good. A few years back, the place was smaller and they had more actual meals. They used to have these donut muffins that were the bomb! When I came back after a few years, I tried their chocolate croissant and was very disappointed. It was dry and did not look like a croissant. Too much chocolate. It also gave my stomach a little indigestion. Not a huge variety of food, and not much of the pastries look appetizing. I don’t recommend. Also don’t believe the good reviews, most of them were made a few years ago and a lot has changed since then. Save your money for a better place.

Grabbed 2 croissants today and brought it home. My wife said: this is not croissants, this is a disaster (I didn't pay attention to what was put inside the paper bag, but I tend to agree). Not to mention plain croissants costs 6$...also It was dried out. Disappointed af.

High quality breads. A bit spendy, but you get what you pay for. Along with that, coffee, sandwiches, and other baked goods. Get there before noon, otherwise many things are sold out for the day (which lets you know it's fresh). Right now they have some nice outdoor tables as well, on a quiet stretch of Hawthorne.

Went here for lunch with my partner and I had the vegetarian sandwich and she had the tuna salad sandwich. Super fresh ingredients and the bread was amazing!!Stellar staff, too!
