I've been going to King's Bakery since I first moved to Montavilla 15 years ago. Their food is always consistently fresh and authentic Asian. I'm half Taiwanese and grew up on Chinese bakeries while living in Southern California. I know an amazing bakery when I find one. We're so lucky to have them here. King's moon buns, vanilla swiss rolls, and apple fritters are my absolute favorites. I always buy whatever they have left so they're sold out because their prices are very reasonable. They're always very friendly too. Go there and thank me later.

Just ordered a durian cake for my mom’s birthday. The cake itself was $45 plus $10 for extra durian. We were so excited to eat the cake but it turned out to be a huge disappointment. The filling was 90 percent cream!!! Barely any durian!!! Also, not the first time this happened to me. The last 2 times were the same too. I have had durian cake from this store before and it was good that was why we kept coming back. It’s sad to see that the quality has decreased so much :( I called and they did offer a refund. We already ate the cake so I thought it’s not fair for them to refund the money. However, this would be the last time I would buy cake from them.
